JoAnn Lamolino

Trumpet, Educator, Yoga Instructor

JoAnn Lamolino is a musician based in the New York City area and performs with orchestras throughout the country. Recent performances include the New York Philharmonic, Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony, Oregon Bach Festival, Festival Orchestra of Lincoln Center, Phoenix Symphony and San Diego Symphony among others.

JoAnn is an Adjunct Professor of Trumpet at Montclair State University. She is also the Founder and Director of the Mind. Music. Sanctuary, offering Trumpet/Mindfulness workshops, residencies and masterclasses on Mindfulness and Music Making at conservatories and universities. Recent presentations include the Manhattan School of Music, Oberlin Conservatory, Lawrence Conservatory, University of Florida, University of Wisconsin at Madison, DePaul University, Hartt School of Music, and the Baltimore School of the Arts, among others.

For the past decade, JoAnn was the Associate Principal Trumpet of the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, member of the Honolulu Brass Quintet and previous three years, Lecturer of Trumpet at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
