JoAnn Lamolino is a trumpet player based in the New York/New Jersey area and in Honolulu, Hawaii. In addition to being the Associate Principal/Second trumpet of the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, she regularly performs with orchestras, chamber ensembles and as a soloist throughout the country.
JoAnn has given recitals, lectures and masterclasses including Arizona State University, NYU, University of Arizona, University of Hawaii at Manoa, Montclair State University of NJ, University of North Carolina at Pembroke, the International Women's Brass Conference and Mt. San Antonio College, CA.
In addition to performances in Hawaii, highlights over the last year include:
Performances with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra;
Giving masterclasses at Arizona State University and the University of Arizona;
Performing in a world premiere opera with the New York City Opera;
Teaching at the Summer Music in Tuscany Festival in Sarteano, Italy;
Soloist in Handel's Messiah at The Great Auditiorium in Ocean Grove, NJ.
